IVF (Test-Tube Baby)

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), commonly known as the “Test-Tube Baby” technique, is one of the most effective forms of assisted reproductive technology (ART). It involves the fertilization of an egg with sperm outside the body, in a laboratory setting. Once the embryo is formed, it is carefully placed into the woman’s uterus to establish a successful pregnancy. IVF is typically recommended for couples facing infertility due to blocked fallopian tubes, male factor infertility, ovulation disorders, endometriosis, or unexplained causes.

Benefits of IVF:

  • Higher Success Rates: Especially for women under 35 or those using donor eggs.
  • Helps Overcome Infertility: IVF offers hope when other treatments have failed.
  • Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT): Can screen embryos for genetic disorders.
  • Fertility Preservation: Eggs or embryos can be frozen for future use.

IVF has helped millions worldwide realize their dream of parenthood and continues to evolve with advancements in technology and care.
