Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a simple, non-invasive fertility treatment in which specially prepared sperm is directly placed into the woman’s uterus around the time of ovulation. This process increases the number of sperm reaching the fallopian tubes, thereby improving the chances of fertilization.
IUI is often the first-line treatment for infertility. It can be performed during a natural cycle or with fertility medications to boost ovulation.
